🪞 Reflection:

The majority of my time these days is spent at work. There is little time to relax at work due to the nature of working as a guard, you’re literally always on guard. There are some who can easily switch the skills on and off, for others it may feel like the button is stuck, or maybe the button is just gone.

I used to be the kind of person who would take the work vibe home with me, my button felt gone. It was hard to do otherwise, I spent so much time away from home and I would dream about work as well. Tense waking hours, tense dreams.

Part of being an “adult” is learning how to manage our “animal instincts”, the “animal” in me wants to relax.

Part of being an adult is learning where to find your button to relax if you lost it…
