🪞 Reflection:

When I was drafting this piece I was still very heavily inspired by tarot and it’s way of communicating in “colorful visual riddles”. I loved the archetypical characters like The Fool and The Hermit, I loved the symbolic use of “everyday objects”, and I loved the story telling through pictures.

Stories through pictures…

Ghost of Color is a visually voracious being. All seeing and all creating.
What was constructed is now a voice that paints gestural stories. The images may not be bound by the laws of nature, and they may not even represent nature, but they feel natural nonetheless. The entity is Observation. Words are hard to work with…yet this is what remained constant:

Gestural
Colorful
Symbolic
