Inspired by myself as usual.

🪞 Reflection:

During my time indoors I spent a lot of time honing my artistic talents and computer skills. When the world felt upside down I spent my time filling in the holes in my awareness and education. I invested in a tablet and began exploring digital illustration a little more.

To start my journey I decided on a familiar subject, the work persona.

Despite the lock-downs, curfews, mandates, I found a way to go outside. I found work as a delivery driver during 2020 and I got to explore my home a little more. The delivery system was an industry I knew very little about at the time but I figured as long as I knew basic work skills I would do well. The feeling was very nomadic.

The type of character I like to play for work is someone who is creative and acknowledges when others do the same. I would often dress up for work, I enjoyed being the coworker with the interesting outfits and makeup. The feeling is that of theatrics.

I also enjoy being the coworker known to make art. Decided to try merging the two by creating a digital character illustration inspired by myself. The feeling is that of many seeds blooming at once.
