🪞 Reflection:
Little did I know that this question was one that I would ask myself for the rest of the year.
It had been about 2 years since I started working in a safe indoors setting, I was beginning to feel anxious about my future and about my ability to give back to the world. It had also been about 8 months since I started my transition journey.
“Is being alive enough?”
The thought haunted me as I worked on my social media posts. It haunted me as I ate attended useless daily meetings. I was haunted on the drives home.
“Is being alive enough?”
At the time of this post I had decided being alive was not enough. I felt my cells urge me to take measures to move. The process of my exit from the current work stage was already in motion, it had been the second time I tried to leave and this time I was not stopped. I was ready to be more than alive.
